This is it . Since it starts out as Extended Spring Training it will likely be sparce, and combined in workouts with Williamsport candidates. I have mostly Latin Americans here, this could be way off.

I'll take a shot in the dark and project that Hewitt doesn't leave the GCL league in 09...he's gonna need a TON of reps to harness his potential.

I'll take a shot in the dark and project that Hewitt doesn't leave the GCL league in 09...he's gonna need a TON of reps to harness his potential. Looking forward to seeing if he makes incremental improvement in ST and EST. Just a small improvement each year will be significant for the first few years. He doesn't need to learn the game overnight. I would like to see a .250 BA, .300 OBP, 5 HR or so, fewer Ks on breaking pitches, etc. That would be something he could build on and take to Williamsport or Lakewood in 2010.
